Polymers are widely used in the home appliance industry due to their lightweight nature, durability, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. These materials play a key role in the design and production of various appliances, enhancing their performance and longevity while reducing manufacturing costs. Key applications of polymers in this sector include:

     1. External Components:

Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) are commonly used for manufacturing outer shells, doors, and covers of appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, and microwave ovens. These polymers offer high impact resistance and durability against environmental conditions.
Polycarbonate (PC) and Polyoxymethylene (POM) are also used in the production of heat- and impact-resistant parts.

     2. Internal Components:

Polyesters, polyamides (nylons), and polycarbonates are employed in the manufacturing of internal parts such as motors, gears, and moving components due to their excellent mechanical properties and resistance to wear and stress.
Polystyrene (PS) and Polypropylene (PP) are used for trays, tubing, and internal components in heating and ventilation systems within appliances.
